SAGAING DIVISION – An official of Gon Marn Local PDF (GMLPDF) stated that the force would like to appeal civilians to participate in the campaign of “Kan Sann Yin Kuu Anyar Ahlu” (Try your luck and help Upper Myanmar) which has been holding to buy the needs: one automatic rifle, ammunitions, and other requirements of comrades from GMLPDF based in Budalin Township, Sagaing Division.
The donation campaign is said to be named as “Kan Sann Yin Kuu Anyar Ahlu” (Try your luck and help Upper Myanmar)” and planned to reward the participated civilians as 1 million MMK for first prize, 0.7 million MMK for second prize, 0.5 million MMK for third prize and five consolation prizes of 0.1 million MMK.
“We had started the campaign since June and planned to open the raffle ticket on September 01. But there are many ticket books left to be sold and so, we postpone to October. Though we considered selling the tickets on the Monywa-Ye-U Road, we couldn’t act as other groups are also selling raffle tickets and we feel sorry for civilians. We would like to buy one automatic rifle and requirements to make the landmines for escalating the military operation. That’s why we have created this campaign. Since we are the local force with being less supported, our comrades worked in the farms and forest for making money to buy ammunition when we don’t have any military operation,” an official of GMLPDF said.
In addition to the campaign, there are only 10 more ticket books to be sold out and the campaign has intended to buy one automatic rifle and other ammunition for the revolution. Furthermore, GMLPDF stated that the junta troop from Hmawbi based, Yangon Division has launched the military operation toward Budalin Township during these days and a coalition of 20 local forces has been planning to defense the junta’s operation.
