KACHIN STATE – A KIA frontline news source said that the KIA has attacked and captured the Kan Taung Yan military base on the Myitkyina-Bhamo road.
In the early morning of October 31, the camp was attacked by the revolutionary forces led by the KIA, and the camp was completely captured at around 9:00 a.m.
“We attacked in the early morning. We entered the camp at around 9:00 this morning and captured the entire camp. The area was still cleared. They attacked Laiza with heavy weapons because that camp was attacked,” said a KIA frontline news source.
Yesterday night, in addition, the KIA attacked and captured the military council’s Light Infantry Battalion 324 base camp in Monemaw, Nanthi, in Nanmatu Township, Northern Shan State, and the revolutionary forces attacked and captured Carmine strategic camp in Kunlong Township.
