KAREN STATE – It was said that 12 Village Tracts in Lu Thaw Township of Hpapun District were flooded. Rice and crop fields were destroyed by flood and people were facing many difficulties in transportation, according to the Mutraw District of Karen National Union (KNU).
It was reported that Village Tracts in the northern and southern parts of Lu Thaw Township in Hpapun District have been flooded due to continuous heavy rains since July 23.
Due to the flood, in addition to facing many difficulties in traveling, the residential houses, rice and other crop plants have been damaged by flooding, and domestic animals have also drowned and died.
