CHIN STATE – Chin Brotherhood Operation announced on December 20 that 168 junta forces surrendered and junta bases, weapons and ammunition were confiscated during the operation in Mindat and Falam.
A military operation was launched to seize Mindat and Falam as a Chin Brotherhood Operation on November 9. In Mindat, the junta council stations at Sanmin Thiri Pagoda Hill, junta staff housing in Sanpya Ward, District Construction Department compound, Tower Tai Hill, Hotel (Mindat), Myalaypwint Pagoda Hill and Four Mile Hill were captured and it is said that continued assault on Mindat District/Township Police Force Compound and infantry battalion 274 led to the surrender of 123 junta soldiers and police forces and their family members on December 15.
Similarly in Falam, Falam District Police Station and Township Police Station, construction office, general administration office and hospital hill that were stationed by terrorist junta forces were captured and 45 junta police forces surrendered on November 12 with weapons.
The Chin Brotherhood Operation stated that they are continuing offensive to capture the remaining junta stations in Falam and Mindat and that they will fight the terrorist military dictator to rid Chin State of the junta council.
