CHIN STATE – In the month of June 2024, 28 civilians’ houses were burnt in the junta army’s arson attacks, according to the statement issued by ‘Data for Myanmar’ group on July 24.
25 houses from Taingen Village of Tedim Township, and 3 houses from Hakha Town were torched and reportedly destroyed.
Similarly, more than 3100 houses from 16 villages of Kalay Township at Saing Division , which the area is connected to Chin State were burned by atrocious junta army in the first half of year 2024, and civilians are in need of help and support, said the ‘Data for Myanmar’ group.
In the three years of military coup, the terrorist council’s arson attack destroyed more than 60 ,000 houses in Sagaing State, which is more than 70 percent of the total number of civilian homes burned down nationwide.
