MYANMAR – The commemorative ceremony for the 36th anniversary of the 8888 uprising was held at Daungtamharn Base, the headquarters of the All Burma Students Democratic Front (ABSDF) on August 8.
Comrade Sunny, the general secretary of ABSDF delivered the opening speech about the 8888 uprising and the ceremony was attended by officials and guests of ABSDF, representatives of allied organisations and fellow ABSDF comrades.
