SAGAING DIVISION – A soldier from Khin Oo PDF said that 4 soldiers of the Village People’s Defense Force were killed on September 10th and 1 other soldier who was arrested is also missing in Ma Daung Gyi Village, Khin Oo Township.
The comrades of the village, Ye Htet Aung, 23 years old, Win Htun (alias) Kyaelgyi, 24 years old, Maung Toke (alias) Toke Kyi, 24 years old and Mu Gyi 25-year-old were shot dead by junta council soldiers near Ma Daung Gyi village where they were guarding and it was there that the bodies were found.
In addition, Bo Ye, 30-year-old soldier was arrested by military council soldiers north of Si Putra village at around 1:00 p.m. on the day the above soldiers were killed, and since he has not been seen since September 12th, it is assumed that he has been killed, said a PDF soldier from Khin Oo.
It is said that the column that killed and captured the comrades was composed of Pyu Saw Htee under Wathawa and LIB 361 soldiers of the Junta Council, which was more than 200.
After arresting and killing those soldiers, that column went to Japort, Pauk Thint Toan and Si Putra villages and it was reported that houses have been burnt down.
In addition, from last August 23rd until the afternoon of September 12th today, the column attacked and burned 12 villages in Khin Oo Township one by one, causing more than two thousand residents to leave their homes, according to local defense forces and residents.
