Last night, after being absent from social media for a long time, Jungkook of BTS posted a new photo of Bam on Weverse.
ARMYs are not unfamiliar with this adorable pet, who was first introduced in “In The Soop : Season 2”.
Bam definitely made an impact on the first episode capturing the hearts of ARMYs watching worldwide. Although he hasn’t revealed what Bam means, Jungkook calls his dog “Bam-ie,” similarly to when Jungkook is called “Jungkook-ie.”
In 2021, ELLE KOREA posted and complimented Jungkook for raising Bam (a Doberman breed) in their natural form without doing any cosmetic procedures.
In the beginning, (Doberman) dogs’ tails were cut to prevent situations such as sheepdogs being trampled on by the tails of sheep, but these days, simple surgery is performed to make them look cute and handsome in the eyes of humans or to clean them during defecation.
But dogs with their tails cut off, which are part of the communication, struggle with personality development. It is said that there are even cases of danmi by tyingthe tails of newborn dogs and killing them.
However, there is Jungkook from BTS.
Recently, in JTBC’s “In the Soop : Season 2”, there were many scences of vacation with Jungkook and his dog.
Bam was said to be a Doberman, but he didn’t have the pointed ears and short tail of the Doberman that many people knew. His ears and tail were long.
Attached is a visual representation of what Dobermans actually look like and the result of surgical procedures on them.
Please take a minute to notice how the surgeries make their ears unnaturally pointed and their tails shorter.
Interest in animal rights is hotter than ever. It is a personal choice for Jungkook, but the ripple effect is huge.
Jungkook has set a really good example of the pet owner.
