SAGAING DIVISION – An official of Sagaing District No. 4 Battalion – MSPDF said that attacks on the police station, general administration office and junta column in Myaung Township killed a soldier and injured many.
On July 31, at around 2:00 a.m., the terrorist army returning from Kyauktan Village, Myaung Township, was attacked by Sagaing District No. 4 Battalion – MSPDF with 4 landmines. Many junta soldiers were injured but the number is still being investigated.
Also on July 31, at around 2:00 p.m., Sagaing District No. 4 Battalion – MSPDF and allied joint forces attacked the Myaung police station and Myaung general administration office where the terrorist army was stationed with heavy weapons and small arms. A junta soldier was killed, one lost his leg and four soldiers were injured. The revolutionary soldiers were able to retreat successfully without harm.
The attack was jointly carried out by Sagaing District No. 4 Battalion – MSPDF and Myingyan District No. 3 Battalion. Meikhtila District No. 2 Battalion, Bomb God Local PDF, and Myoma People’s Defence Force (Myaung).
