SHAN STATE (SOUTH) – According to the local news sources, the ministry of immigration and population (MIP) office in Pindaya township, Danu Self-Administered Zone, Southern Shan state was blasted on November 27.
It has been reported that an explosion broke out in the township MIP office which was located beside the road towards Shwe Oo Min pagoda, Pindaya town, at around 10:45 p.m. on November 27.
A local news source mentioned that “we entered the office by climbing the fence from the back of the office. The windows and the doors were quite damaged. The brick wall also collapsed.”
The explosion occurred during the night time. There were no casualties as there were no residents in the staff housing.
It was stated in the junta council lobbyist telegram channels that the improvised hand grenades were detonated at around 10 feet away from the fence. Due to the explosion, the windows and two doors of the office building were damaged.
Junta council propaganda telegram channels stated that that attack was performed under the lead of Danu People Liberation Army (DPLA) chairman Tun Tun Naing.
The chairman of DPLA Tun Tun Naing responded to the junta council’s propaganda that “the junta council has been spreading propagandas since the coup. Even though their (the junta council’s) propaganda failed, they have been propagandising to satisfy themselves. Sometimes, we watched them for fun.”
Apart from DPLA, another two Guerrilla Forces have been conducting military operations in Pindaya township.
