KAREN STATE – There were 67 battles in Karen National Union (KNU) Brigade 5 territory during November, and 24 junta forces were killed, stated KNU Mutraw.Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) clashed against the junta terrorists a total of 67 times in November in the region, killing 24 junta forces and injuring 13.
The junta deaths reportedly included a battalion commander and a sergeant, while the injured included a company commander.Meanwhile, 11 soldiers of KNLA Brigade 5 had nobly sacrificed their lives for the country and people during those battles, and 50 revolutionary soldiers were said to have been injured.
During November, the terrorist junta council carried out seven aerial bombings in Pehtar Village and nearby villages in Luthaw Township and also fired 74 rounds of 122 mm, 120 mm, and 60 mm artillery into the villages for no reason. The attacks burned down two houses and killed two cattle.
