The late Seon-gyun Lee’s funeral has been arranged at the funeral hall of Seoul National University Hospital

The funeral for actor Lee Sun-gyun was arranged in Room 1 of the funeral hall at Seoul National University Hospital in Yeongeon-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, on the afternoon of the 27th. Alongside his wife, actress Jeon Hye-jin, Lee Sun-kyun’s older brother and older sister were also present.

The funeral will be held quietly, attended by family and colleagues. Scheduled for the 29th, the burial place is Seonyeong, Buan-gun, Jeollabuk-do.

According to Seoul Jongno Police Station, Lee Seon-gyun was discovered deceased in a park near Seoul. The police were informed that Lee Sun-kyun had left his residence after leaving a note resembling a suicide note. During the search, Lee Sun-gyun was found deceased in a vehicle around 10:30 a.m.

Previously, Lee Sun-kyun had been questioned three times by the police regarding suspicions of drug use since last October. On the 26th, he submitted a written statement through his legal representative to the drug crime investigation unit of the Incheon Police Agency, requesting a polygraph test.

However, the drug crime investigation unit of the Metropolitan Investigation Unit of the Incheon Police Agency, in charge of investigating his alleged drug use, intends to close the investigation without prosecution rights following Lee Seon-gyun’s death as a suspect.
