Firstly, Lee Je-hoon, the ‘representative driver’ of ‘Model Taxi 2,’ which has surpassed 20% in viewership ratings and has become the best drama of 2023, is considered a strong contender for the grand prize. Han Seok-gyu of SBS’s prominent seasonal drama ‘Romantic Doctor 3’ expanded the world view of Doldam Hospital to Doldam Trauma Center this season. He radiated his still-present presence, becoming the center of the drama and offering viewers ‘unchanging values.’ His performance provided empathy and emotion, receiving favorable reviews for delicately depicting the strong side and remaining charisma of ‘Master Kim’ with overwhelming acting skills.
Kim Tae-ri, who showcased her exceptional acting skills in ‘Ghost,’ was also nominated for the grand prize. In the Korean-style occult mystery ‘Ghost,’ which SBS ambitiously presented amid the seasonal craze, Kim Tae-ri captivated viewers by perfectly portraying the challenging roles of a demon and an ordinary civil servant. Her ‘method acting’ was lauded by critics and the public, and despite being a somewhat minor genre, ‘Ghost’ recorded an average viewership rating of over 10%, establishing itself as a premium drama.

At the ‘2022 SBS Drama Awards,’ Kim Nam-gil of ‘Those Who Read the Heart of Evil’ received the grand prize. With competition expected to be as fierce as last year among the four grand prize candidates this year, more attention is being paid to which actor will lift the grand prize trophy.
