SAGAING DIVISION – The junta council’s basic military training regiment 8 in Shwebo Township was attacked with four 107 mm shock missiles on May 23 around 12:30 p.m., according to an official from Freedom Revolution Force (FRF).
During the attack, the missiles hit the central sentry unit, armoury, artillery range and barracks and two junta soldiers on duty at the central sentry unit were said to have been killed while it is still being investigated if there were any additional junta casualties.
“This was an attack on the training regiment, a pillar of the junta council. We heard that two junta dogs (junta forces) were killed,” said the official from FRF.
The attack was carried out by the alliance made up of FRF, Shwebo District Battalion 25 (TPC) and Shwebo District Battalion 24.
