MYANMAR – The junta council’s Yangon Division Commander, Brigadier General Aung Soe Moe who served as the Borders and Security Minister for Yangon Division during the NLD government term was promoted to Major General and appointed to the position of Joint Quartermaster General.
The Defense Services Academy 37th Batch alumnus was promoted as a Brigadier General to Yangon Division Command Commander in 2020 and was appointed as the Joint Quartermaster General four years later.
Major General Aung Soe Moe served as the Borders and Security Minister for Yangon Division from July 2017 to July 2020 as a colonel and worked alongside Yangon Division Prime Minister Phyo Min Thein.
