MAGWAY DIVISION – An official from the People’s Defence Organization of Yesagyo Township said that a ration truck from the junta Infantry Battalion 257 in Yesagyo was captured.
According to the information, the ration truck from the 257th Infantry Battalion, Yesagyo, headed to the village of Zee Taw, a Pyu Saw Htee base, was seized at 6:30 a.m. on July 14. It was reported that 24 bags of rice, 4 oil containers, 2 bags of salt, 3 bags of beans and 5 cartons of condensed milk were seized together with the truck.
“Those arrested are still being examined. We need to distinguish whether they are soldiers or Pyu Saw Htee or civilians. They came with a pickup truck. They were disguised as a civilian car. It was arrested because we received information in advance,” said an official from the Yesagyo People’s Defence Organisation.
