MYANMAR – Corporal Myo Zaw from the junta army who surrender to the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) in Lashio said that the members of the junta military are separated from their families and facing deadly risks because of the terrorist military dictator Min Aung Hlaing.
MNDAA published the video of the corporal speaking against the junta chief on July 14.
“Because of dictator Min Aung Hlaing, the family members of us soldiers are also facing threats of losing their lives. Our families are separated. I believe that a nation desired by the people, elected by the people will appear soon,” said Corporal Myo Zaw.
The junta corporal surrendered to the Three Brotherhood Alliance in Lashio Township on July 12. He finished the basic military training in 2011 and first served at Kunlun Strategic Base.
“I am very sorry to the people who are affected by the war in Lashio. Military dictator Min Aung Hlaing stole the power from the people when the people are suffering from the COVID-19 pandemic. He used armed violence when the people protested and that drove the people to fight back with whatever was available to them. I am sad for the people suffering in Lashio. But I don’t blame the Alliance forces. The Alliance forces are not building a new country. They are building a union desired by the people,” said the corporal.
It was also reported that MNDAA provided medical treatment to the junta soldiers who surrendered in Lashio Township.
