SHAN STATE (NORTH) – According to the MNDAA (Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army), ten junta council troops from Ordnance Corps 626 based in Lashio Township, surrendered under the MNDAA in the Northern Shan State.
Starting from July 3, battles broke out between MNDAA and the fascist junta council troops from Lashio City, after which, within a few days, ten junta council troops from the Lashio based ordnance corps, along with their weapons, surrendered under MNDAA.
The ceremony of surrender was held on July 11 and MNDAA awarded 16.5 million Kyats to the ten junta council troops who surrendered. The junta council troops who surrendered under MNDAA brought nine rifles, five grenades, five detonation devices and 563 bullets along with them.
