MANDALAY DIVISION-Three men from Kone Myint Tharyar ward were killed and a convent was destroyed by heavy weapons in Mogok, according to locals.
Since July 18 morning, the battle was intense in the east of Mogok. The Military Junta recklessly attacked with heavy weapons and fell to the Kone Myint Tharyar ward, killing 3 civilians.
“Both Kone Myint Tharyar ward and a convent were attacked by Military Junta with the heavy weapons.
Heavy weapon shells could be seen. Three men killed by the heavy weapons are Ko Zin, U Maung Htwe and U Tin Maung Aye. There were people who injured. The convent was also destroyed,” said a local.
After the west Mogok had been occupied by revolutionary forces leading by TNLA, the battles became intense in east of Mogok. The Military Junta recklessly and continuously attacked with heavy weapons, reported by the civilians.
