SAGAING DIVISION- The junta troops deployed at the Police Station, administrative office, and the school in Depayin township were attacked and one soldier was reported killed, stated an official of the Budalin Mobile Team-BMT (Budalin Township Mobile Column).
On July 19th, around 10:00 a.m., in commemoration of Martyrs Day, terrorist soldiers who deployed at Myoma Police Station, the administrative office, and the school were attacked, opening 80mm, 60mm 40mm motor and RPG fire as well as small arms. The attack lasted until around 11:30 a.m. A terrorist soldier was reportedly killed and 2 wounded. During the attack, the junta soldiers did not come out of the bunker nor return a single shot of fire so, the resistance forces fell back.
” They didn’t return a single shot nor make a move. One junta soldier died in front of us in a close-range shot. When we tried to pick up his weapon, two people came up so we continued shooting. They were shot and ran back to their post. About an hour after our troops retreated, they fired arbitrarily with small and large weapons. Several shots were reportedly heard,” said an official from Budalin Mobile Team-BMT.
The attack was jointly carried out by the Budalin Mobile Team (BMT), Depayin Local Mobile Team (DLMT) and Yay Kyaw Bumblebee Forces, and the defense forces were able to retreat unharmed.
