MAGWAY DIVISION – An official of Natmauk Township People’s Defence Organisation (PDO) reported that they attacked the junta vehicle leaving Saikaung Village in Natmauk Township after abducting civilians to use as porters.
On July 21 around 12:20 p.m., the car with terrorist junta soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee militants on board was attacked with mines between Kwingyi and Kanpyo in Natmauk Township.
It is said that the attack lasted for around ten minutes and there were possible junta casualties in the attack but the exact number cannot be determined. The members of the revolutionary forces were able to return unharmed.
“Our comrades set off mines (on the junta vehicle) and opened fire. We are still investigating the casualties of junta dogs (junta forces). The duration of the attack was around ten minutes,” said the official from Natmauk Township PDO.
The attack was a joint operation between Natmauk Township PDO, Myothit PDO, Battalion 903 Company 1, Galon PDF Natmauk, Black Leopard Battalion, Battalion 902, Bo. 1 and Red Crane Battalion.
