SAGAING DIVISION – Local people said that when terrorist soldiers entered Ohnpauk village, Shwe Bo township, Sagaing division, and opened fire on the surrounding village with heavy weapons, 1 woman from Moungtet village was hit by a heavy weapon and killed.
On July 23rd, more than 30 terrorist soldiers from the terrorist army’s No. 8 training unit from Shwe Bo came out on foot and more than 30 terrorist soldiers came in 3 cars from number 12 Infantry Battalion from Kyaukmyaung formed a column with the strength about 50, arrived at Ohnpauk village. After that, without a fight, they opened fire on the surrounding villages with heavy weapons mindlessly, killing 1 person and damaging their houses.
“Now, the junta council’s army is afraid of attack and seize the Kyaukmyaung town in Shwe Bo township by the revolutionary forces. Yesterday afternoon, revolutionary groups dropped bombs with drones into the number 12 Infantry Battalion. Junta Council started firing with heavy weapons mindlessly. People in Kyaukmyaung village have fled,” a local resident said.
After the revolutionary groups seized Sint Gu town, the members of the terrorist war council formed a column for fear that Kyaukmyaung would be seized and fired heavy weapons without any fighting.
