MANDALAY DIVISION – The Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) information department announced that the TNLA led revolutionary forces captured the eastern part of Mogok Township on July 24, successfully capturing the entire Mogok Township.
“We have successfully captured Mogok Township today (July 24),” stated the TNLA information department.
The offensive on Mogok Township started on June 25 and the western part of the township was captured on June 30 after the TNLA led forces captured Daw Nan Kyi Hill Camp, the strategic hill camp, Shwetharyar, Panthapyay and Phyuyaung Hill on June 26 and Mogok Kyatpyin Police Station, Aungtharyar and Arkarmoe outposts on June 27.
Then from June 31 to July 24, the revolutionary forces successively captured the junta bases and outposts in the eastern part of Mogok Township including the strategic hill camp, Apaw Police Station, Prison, Hilltop Pagoda Camp, Myopatpal Camp, Lal Oo, Ayezedi, Kyaukthinbaw Hill, Padamyar Pagoda Hill, Chanmyaetharyar Hill, Kachinpanma and Bamon Village Outpost, successfully capturing the entire Mogok Township in one month from June 25 to July 24.
