SHAN STATE – The Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) stated that they are still attacking the junta strategic base in Mongmit and that battles are still ongoing in Kyaukme.
On July 26 around 8:25 a.m., a battle broke out between the TNLA forces and the terrorist junta reinforcement troops near Doepin Village in Mongmit and a battle also took place at the Mongmit Strategic Base at around 1:15 p.m.
Similarly in Kyaukme, TNLA launched an attack on junta light infantry battalion 501 and 502 at around 2:45 p.m. and clashes occurred near Tower Tai as well.
In addition, the terrorist junta forces stationed at Bantbway Village in Nawnghkio were reported to have dropped three grenades on Thaekhaw Village using two drones.
