MYANMAR – The Karenni National Progressive Party (KNPP) and the Pa’O National Federal Council (PNFC) sent condolences message for the death of Naw Zipporah Sein, the former vice chair of the Karen National Union (KNU) who passed away on July 24 from cancer.
PNFC said in its message that Naw Zipporah Sein worked her whole life for the Karen revolution, democracy and the formation of federal union that guarantees national equity and self determination, and that they will always remember her love, faith, will, sacrifice and hard work that deserve to be set as an ideal for the future leaders.
PNFC also mentioned that the father of Padoh Naw Zipporah Sein, Saw Tar Mala Baw also worked for both the Karen national affairs and the union affairs.
KNPP also stated that they will always remember the fair leadership and strong beliefs of Padoh Naw Zipporah Sein in implementing the true peace for the Karen and the country of Myanmar in their condolences message.
KNPP said that they are deeply saddened for the KNU, a partner of the KNPP in the works to eradicate military dictatorship and build federal democracy by the loss of Padoh Naw Zipporah Sein.
