THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA: It was known that Myanmar cartoonists had exhibited their cartoons at Myanmar Union Night Fair organised by Buffalo Myanmar Association (BMA) in Buffalo, New York State, the USA.
The cartoons exhibit was reportedly organised by the writer Marn (Taung Lone Pyan) and the poet Thaway for two days on 26 and 27 July. At the exhibition, there were over (50) cartoons and revolutionary cartoons were mainly shown especially the cartoons which mocked the junta’s council. Cartoon Mgmg Fountain, Cartoon Lagoon Ein, and Cartoon Waiyan (Taunggyi) had drawn caricatures there.
