SHAN STATE – The Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) announced on July 30 that it will protect the Chinese and foreign investments and staff alongside local civilians in northern Shan State.
The MNDAA Military Committee published the announcement so that its military commanders can avoid damaging foreign investments during the battles and to protect the foreign investment and employees from the fighting.
The announcement mentioned to protect the foreign investments, prevent damages to Chinese investments as much as possible and to protect the lives and properties of the local people and immigrants.
In addition, MNDAA advised its troops to coordinate with the allied forces to prevent harm to Chinese investments and staff and to report the actions that could harm the benefits of China to the MNDAA military committee in a timely manner then to immediately contact the related departments of China.
MNDAA also instructed to rescue the Chinese nationals trapped in the conflict zone and to save the Chinese nationals who are injured, troubled or under attack.
