KARENNI STATE- The Progressive Karenni People Force (PKPF) announced last Thursday (August 1) that more than 3,000 members of the Terrorist Junta Council have been killed and 3 fighter jets were destroyed in Karenni land over the past three years.
This information was included in the PKPF report on human rights violations, politics, and war news in the Karenni State after the military coup (between February 1, 2021, to July 30, 2024).
“514 civilians were killed, 153 IDP passed away, 608 KNDF/PDF/KA casualties within 1189 battles and 1,655 Junta air strikes. 52 religious buildings and 2,682 houses were reportedly destroyed,” according to the PKPF report.
Moreover, 16 hospitals/ clinics and 25 school buildings were damaged.
3,455 deaths of the terrorist military council troops and 68 military vehicles damages were also reported by the Progressive Karenni People Force (PKPF). Three planes were also damaged and 162 people were arrested unjustly, as mentioned in the statement.
