NORTHERN SHAN STATE – Former commander of Northeast Command Major General Soe Tint, Chief of Staff of Command Brigadier General Thant Htin Soe, Commander of Military Operation Command 1 Brigadier General Myo Min Htway were captured alive during the capture of the junta Northeast Command by MNDAA, said CDM Captain Zin Yaw.
He also added that it is a new follow up event.
Former commander Major General Soe Tint was dismissed from his position during the Lashio battle and replaced by the commander of Infantry Division 99 Brigadier Soe Hlaing by Min Aung Hlaing.
Major General Soe Tint was a graduate of batch Tayza 16 from Officer Training School, Chief of Staff of Command Brigadier General Thant Htin Soe was a graduate of batch number 41 of Defense Services Academy and the Commander of Military Operation Command 1 based in Kyaukme, Brigadier General Myo Min Htway was a graduate of batch Tayza 26 from Officer Training School.
