CHIN STATE – It was reported that Chin Joint forces seized the Junta’s 269 battalion camp in Thantlang at 9 a.m. on August 5.
Regarding the capture, (CNF/A) Spokesperson Salai Htet Ni confirmed that “We have got the base camp of 269 battalion, although there are still some small camps in the city, and we are continuing to clear them.”
Chinland Council joint forces captured three Auto Mountain camps, located between Haka and Thantlang on the morning of July 28th.
During the battle, 15 junta soldiers were killed, two captured alive as prisoners of war, and weapons and ammunitions were also seized, according to the reports.
