SAGAING DIVISION: The local farmers from Yinmarbin township, Sagaing division were said to have organised a revolutionary movement to welcome “1027 Military Operations” on the morning of August 5.
The farmers reportedly demonstrated, holding the banners “Welcome the Waves of 1027 with Eugene Leaves, Sign of Victory”, “From Mountain Ranges to the Plain”, and “We Stand with 1027 Operation” while planting crops.
The strike movement was cooperatively organised by “Lunge Ahmarn Strike Column” and the local civilians.
