CHIN STATE- Burmese Nursing and Midwifery Training Council and Ministry of Health and Sports (MOHS) of the Chin State Government, elected by the Chinland Council, is opening the Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery classes starting September 2024 (for three academic years) to serve and improve health care coverage in the necessary areas in Chin State.
According to Chin State MOHS, the three-year diploma course is opened to solve the shortage of health care staff and to improve the health care coverage for the more needy areas.
Applications for diploma in nursing and midwifery skills should be submitted to the relevant regional administration and health representatives by September 5, 2024. Applicants must pass the matriculation exam before 2021 or NUG government matriculation exam (after the coup in 2021).
The CDM midwife and CDM Midwifery student can also apply. CDM midwife must be able to present a recommendation letter from the relevant local administration and health representatives, according to the MOHS announcement.
After completing the training, the graduates must be able to serve in Chin State for at least three years. The vacancies are limited and interviews will be conducted for the applicant selection.
