MYANMAR – The Three Brotherhood Alliance urged the international community including China to stop the junta council bombing the towns, villages, hospitals, schools, markets and houses that are not in the conflict zones in northern Shan State.
The members of the alliance are in fierce clashes against the junta council and the junta regime, after facing defeats in those battles, would target and bomb the civilians in non-conflict zones, which the alliance heavily condemned and said are serious war crimes.
The junta council is targeting the civilians in the areas now under complete control of the alliance and free from battles such as Laukkai, Hsenwi, Kutkai, Nhamsan and Mrauk U Township, bombing the markets, schools, hospitals and clinics, religious buildings, bridges, towns and villages using high destructive bombs.
Such attacks have resulted in the destruction of markets, hospitals, schools and many houses as well as a large number of civilian casualties.
The Three Brotherhood Alliance has also requested the people living in the areas that became junta free zones during Operation 1027 that are now under control of the alliance to cooperate and comply with the instructions to stay safe from the airstrikes of the junta council.
The alliance also urged the international community, particularly the neighbouring China, to stop the war crimes of the junta council that is bombing the public buildings such as markets, schools and hospitals in towns and villages that are not in conflict zones, and killing the civilians.
