MYANMAR – The Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) sent a message for the 49th Kachin Martyrs’ Day that falls on August 10.
In the message, CRPH wished for the Kachin people and the new Kachin generations to fully achieve self determination, equality and justice as wished for by the Kachin Martyrs and continue working towards the building of the federal democratic union.
Moreover, CRPH recognises and bows to the Kachin people for surviving actively taking part in the Spring Revolution despite the air strikes, bombings and arrests and tortures by the terrorist junta council as the people are the main factor and the leaders of the revolution.
CRPH said that the current Spring Revolution is a historic revolution to root out the terrorist military dictatorship that has been a parasite for decades, and thanked the Kachin people for their practical involvement on the ground alongside other revolutionary forces.
