SHAN STATE – Local civilians reported that there was a battle near the Dohtawaddy Bridge on the Nawnghkio – Yaksauk Road and the terrorist junta air force has been continuously bombing the villages.
Battle broke out near Dohtawaddy Bridge starting around 3 a.m. on August 10 and in addition to the junta air force bombing the villages, the junta artillery battalion 626 also shelled the site of the battle and nearby villages.
It is not yet confirmed if there were any civilian casualties due to junta air and artillery attacks.
“There is a fierce battle between the revolutionary forces and the junta dogs (junta forces) near Dohtawaddy Bridge connecting Yaksauk and Nawnghkio. The junta council’s air force is mainly targeting the villages. It started around 3 a.m. (Junta) Artillery Battalion 626 also fired heavy weapons. The battles are still fierce even now at noon (on August 10),” said a resident.
