MANDALAY DIVISION – An official from Taungtha Township People’s Defence Organisation (PDO) said that four junta forces were killed and three guns were confiscated in the attack on junta outpost on the Taungtha-Kyaukpadaung Road.
The terrorist junta outpost to guard the generator sub station near Waelaung Village in Taungtha Township that was set up to maintain control of the Taungtha-Kyaukpadaung Road was attacked around 5:30 a.m. on August 10.
It is said that the terrorist junta forces at the outpost scrambled away during the attack that killed four junta troops while the revolutionary forces were able to return unharmed.
In addition, a G2 rifle, a M1 Carbine rifle and a .22 pistol as well as 329 G3 bullets, 80 Carbine bullets, two Energa grenades, one .22 bullet, two mobile phones, two motorcycles, two hand grenades and one icon communication device were reportedly seized from the junta outpost.
The attack was carried out by Taungtha Township PDO, Myingyan District Battalion 9, Nay Pyi Taw Battalion 801 and Taungtha Township People’s Security Force.
