MANDALAY DIVISION – Mr. Haruna Kajima, the fundraising officer of Nganzun Township People’s Defence Organisation (PDO) reported that at least ten junta soldiers were killed in the attack on junta camp at Myothar Industrial Zone in Nganzun Township.
The terrorist junta camp stationed by around 30 junta forces was attacked in the morning of August 16 by joint revolutionary forces and at least ten junta soldiers were killed while many were injured.
“We didn’t pick up any item. The battle lasted around half an hour. We had to fall back due to the arrival of junta reinforcement from nearby camps as well as Myothar Town,” explained Mr. Haruna Kajima.
The attack was carried out by Nganzun Township PDO, Sintgaing Township PDO, Myingyan 35 Guerrilla Force, Bo Sar Guerrilla Force – Myingyan and Pyichitthar Guerrilla Force and the revolutionary forces are said to be unharmed.
