MANDALAY DIVISION – The People’s Defence Forces (PDFs) reportedly attacked and acquired Nganmyargyi Town and police station in Ngazun Township, and the terrorist junta soldiers were captured alive, and their weapons were seized, according to Mr. Haruna Kajima, in charge of Ngazun People’s Defence Organization.
The Revolutionary Forces combated Nganmyargyi police station and the places where the junta forces stationed, in Ngazun Township, starting on the morning of August 19. There were casualties on the junta army side, junta soldiers were captured alive, and their weapons were seized. At present, the junta army carried out airstrike attacks and the fights were fierce.
“We control Nganmyargyi Town. The detailed information cannot be revealed because the current fights are still fierce. We captured some junta soldiers with their weapons. At present, the junta’s reinforcements are coming from Si Mee Khon and Ngazun. There is also airstrike support,” said Mr. Haruna Kajima, in charge of fundraising for the Ngazun People’s Defence Organization.
Yesterday (August 18), the Revolutionary Forces successfully attacked and captured Tabayin Town in Sagaing Division, and they were able to attack and capture Nganmyargyi Town in Ngazun Township, on August 19.
