MANDALAY DIVISION – The terrorist junta council bombed Letwae+Myinni Village in Natogyi Township three times, injuring a woman and damaging a monastery and a school building, according to local news sources.
On August 21 around 12:00 p.m., the junta plane flew over the village three times dropping two bombs each time. A 50-year-old woman was injured by shrapnel in her thigh and the monastery and the school building were also damaged.
“At around 12:00 p.m. today (August 21), Letwae+Myinni Village was bombed three times. Two bombs were dropped each time. A 50 year old woman was hit by shrapnel in the thigh and the school building and the monastery were also hit but there was no major damage to the houses,” said a local source.
Similarly on August 20 around 12:30 p.m. the terrorist junta council bombed Kunohn Village in Natogyi Township two times, followed by an airstrike using the machine gun mounted on the plane, killing two civilians and injuring three including a 70 years old monk. Moreover, the religious hall and a house in the monastery premises were also damaged.
