MYANMAR: It was known that the completion ceremony of batch (2) basic military training by Nagarni Military Column under No.(3) Military Regional Branch, Southern Military Command, People’s Defence Force had been held on August 21.
It was reported that the former soldiers who joined the civil disobedience movement had organised the basic military training of Nagarni Military Column, where the new comrades had been taught how to perform military parades, how to apply small arms (18) different types, basic military tactics, the ethics followed by the soldiers according to the basic military syllabus.
The completion ceremony was reportedly attended by Mr. Jupiter from military regional branch (3) and read out the formal messages sent by the ministry of defence. Moreover, the commanding officers of Karen National Liberation Army and the officers from military regional branches were also known to have attended there.
