SAGAING DIVISION – According to Kachin Independence Army (KIA) military news source and local residents, fighting has been intense at Myataung Village of Tigyaing Township.
Battle between Kachin Independence Army (KIA), All Burma Students’ Democratic Front (ABSDF), Kachin People’s Defence Force (KPDF) against atrocious junta army was reportedly intensifying on August 22, and the junta army conducted airstrikes.
The terrorist army bombarded the place where the battle took place with a jet fighter, and the situation of casualties on the ground during the battle has not yet been confirmed.
“The battle in Myataung continues to be intense. KIA, ABSDF and KPDF forces continue to advance,” a KIA military news source said.
