MYANMAR – Chinland Defence Force (CDF) – Hakha reported that a junta soldier deployed in Hakha, Chin State brought his weapons and surrendered.
The junta soldier entered the legal fold under CDF-Hakha on August 24 and was awarded for bringing his weapons then sent to a safe location.
Similarly, Minkin People’s Defence Force – MKPDF 2 announced on August 25 that a police lance corporal from Taze Police Station in Sagaing Division surrendered to Kalay District Battalion 11.
The police lance corporal is reported to have brought a G3 gun, two cartridges, a pair of handcuffs, one hand grenade, one 5.56mm bullet, one 4.8mm bullet, seven 9mm bullets and 173 7.62mm bullets.
MKPDF 2 said that the police lance corporal has been sent to a safe location and thanked Freedom Revolution Force, SAF and local defence forces who risked dangers to bring him out and also urged junta forces to quickly join the side of the people.
