MANDALAY DIVISION: MDY PDF announced in the afternoon of August 26 that the military camp of atrocious junta’s council based on (500) Field, Thabeikkyin township, Mandalay Division was completely captured on August 25.
MDY PDF was known to have fought the intense battle for (20) days to attack (500) field military base led by Brigadier General Soe Kyaw Hteik with (400) soldiers, starting from August 5.
It was also described that mass ammunition and weapons had been confiscated from (500) field military base of atrocious junta’s council and the prisoners of war had been seized too.
During the battle of (500) field military base, there were also some casualties of the members of MDY PDF and its alliances.
Moreover, it was also reported that small military bases as well as tactical military camps of Junta’s council on Mogok – Singu road had been totally wiped out, as mentioned on the announcement.
