BAGO DIVISION – The Resistance Fighters attacked the junta’s Taungoo airbase with shock missiles and Kamikaze drones as operations, “Rain of Fire”, under the command of No. (2) Sub-military Region of Southern Military Region (JOC), at around 3:30 a.m., on August 26, according to No. (2) Sub-military Region of Southern Military Region.
The military news source said that the Resistance Fighters attacked the junta’s Taungoo airbase with 114mm shock missiles and Kamikaze drones, killing one colonel, one captain, one sergeant and five other ranks, and injuring 21.
Operations, “Rain of Fire”, was jointly carried out by Armed Forces of Sub-military Region, Shar Htoo Waw Drone Team, KLOUD Drone Team, Battalion (5) and Special Battalion of Brigade – 2 under Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA), Battalion – 3502 of Taungoo District People’s Defence Force, Central Regional Command and Nay Pyi Taw Military Headquarters.
