MANDALAY DIVISION – Number 1 Military Region said that they were able to attack and capture the places where the terrorist army was stationed at Lay Mile Village and Tower Hill of Thabeikkyin Township and seized 13 weapons.
From August 29, the combined troops from Thabeikkyin Township based junta Higher Grade Military Training School 13, Basic Military Training School 2 and Military Equipment Regiment 1 stationed in Lay Mile Village and Tower Hill camp were attacked by the revolutionary forces.
It is reported that on the morning of August 30, the revolutionary forces attacked and captured the terrorist junta council troops by supervision of the District Commander of Pyin Oo Lwin District.
The attack was carried out by Pyin Oo Lwin District Battalion 1 and 2, Battalion (509, 510 and 512), Pyin Oo Lwin District/Thabeikkyin Township People’s Defence Organisation, Mandalay Division Drone Force, Drone Squad of No. 1 Shwebo District Command Office and Kanbalu District W-89.
During the battle, 13 small arms, 2,796 bullets, two Drone Slayers, 43 60-mm shells, six Energa grenades and 22 cartridges were seized from the terrorist military council soldiers.
