MYANMAR – People’s Defence Forces (PDFs) in the Southern Military Region under the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of National Unity Government (NUG) was recruiting new trainees to protect the nation and the people from the evil dictatorship.
The Southern Military Region said that the People’s Defence Forces, which was established by the people with the aim of completely eradicating the military dictatorship that has been rooted and defeated in Myanmar for a long time, has seen rapid progress in a short period of time.
It was said that fully trained and highly capable People’s Defense Forces personnel are still increasing in People’s Defence Forces (PDFs) of the Southern Military Region, and new trainees are still being recruited and trained.
The PDFs receiving new troops in the Southern Military Region are the Special Operations Forces-SOF, Garuda Column and Royal Peacock Column.
For those who want to join the training they must be between (18) and (35) years of age in good health and mentally strong, and must be decisive. They must be completely able to attend basic military training, special operations training, and refresher training if necessary. After completing the training, they must be able to serve anywhere in the Southern Military Region according to the assignment and grouping assigned by the unit.
In addition to this, they must be able to strictly adhere to military disciplines set by the MOD and SOF’s rules and regulations, and must serve for at least two (2) years and can continue to serve for another two (2) years if required.
