MAGWAY DIVISION – It was reported that as pyu saw htee villages in Myaing Township have been blocked by PDF forces and cut off all the food routes, the junta army is continuously dropping food packages by air.
It is stated that PDF forces attacked the military convoy that was sending food from the 101 light infantry headquarters to pyu saw htee villages in Myaing Township, and blocked these villages, and controlled all the areas. Due to that, the junta military had to use air force to supply food and dropped the food packages.
“Since the beginning of 2024, the junta has been planning to supply food to pyu saw htee in Twin Ma, Thayat Kan, Thayat Kwa, Kanni from Pakokku. Due to the attacks by PDFs, they were unable to move forward but retreated. We were able to dominate the ground so that they could not get out,” said Comrade Kalay who is in charge of representative from Pakokku District Battalion 15.
On August 31, it was reported that the junta army dropped food packages eleven times from the Y-8 plane to Kanni pyu saw htee village until 3 or 4:00 p.m., and the revolutionary forces fired and attacked with heavy weapons to the military soldiers and pyu saw htee members who were collecting food.
Comrade Kalay said that the casualties on the junta side during the attack has not yet been confirmed, but they cannot collect the food.
In addition, on August 30, the junta army dropped food packages from a Y-12 plane to Thayat Kwa pyu saw htee village, and the revolutionary forces were able to seize them.
