SAGAING DIVISION – On September 2, Salingyi Township People’s Administrative Organization announced that they have provided food supplies and emergency financial support to the displaced people who have fled their homes in Salingyi Township, Sagaing Region.
On September 1, volunteers and donors provided food supplies and donated money to the displaced people through the Salingyi Township People’s Administrative Organization, Humanitarian Officer, and other responsible persons.
Additionally, they visited a village in the township that urgently needed bomb shelters and handed over a total amount of 3,126,000 kyats to the village authorities. This amount includes 1 million Myanmar kyats collected by the People’s Administrative Organization and 2,126,000 Myanmar kyats contributed by the Township Bomb Shelter Committee.
