MAGWAY DIVISION – A canter truck belonging to a junta officer from Yesagyo based infantry battalion 258 was arrested on the Pakokku-Yesagyo Road on September 1 around 7 a.m., according to Southern YSO PDF.
The truck was moving the household items of Captain Zaw Lin from infantry battalion 258 towards Bagan-Nyaung U and it is said that two military family members were on board together with the driver.
“The car is a car that’s used by the junta council in their operations. We have been watching it for nearly two months. The junta council has been using it while making it seem like a civilian vehicle,” said Bo. Aung Maung, the representative of Southern YSO PDF.
Military equipment, Inwa Bank book, several certificates and furniture belonging to Captain Zaw Lin were reportedly seized from the truck.
Bo. Aung Maung said that they will confiscated the truck as it has been used in military operations by the junta forces and that the three people on board are currently being questioned and will be released.
