NAYPYIDAW – A Bed ridden sick man from Tatkon Township was reportedly abducted by the fascist junta army to serve in the army.
In late August, the village administrator Kyaw Myint, the hundred household administrators Myint Soe, Thardin, and policemen came to Shwemyo Village of Tatkon Township and captured Mr.Kyaw San Moe, who was not healthy and bedridden. He was sent back home only after a medical check-up showed that he had tuberculosis.
In addition, 3 young men from Naypyidaw, Tatkon, and Shwemyo Station Village were also captured by the fascist council for military service. As the atrocious army is abducting people to use as porters, the young people do not dare to sleep in their homes at night but have to sleep in the forests near the village.
“At night, the villagers nearby and all the young men and women go to sleep in the forest. The forcefully abducted youths are sent to a camp near Naypyitaw, where there are about 400 young men who are conscripts. Three youths abducted from Shwemyo Station Village are included. People from other villages were also captured and sent to the camp,” the resident explained.
